这是国外一家生产激光器的著名公司的询问，其中法拉第旋光玻璃棒的“thermal lensing effects of this material” 是什么意思？ 向各位老师请教。

参考内容如下：

I am interested in Faraday rotator glass. To be more precise I am interested in glass rods, 6mm diameter, 6mm length, polished end surfaces and AR-coated for 1030nm if possible. Do you have data on thermal lensing effects of this material。

Could you please tell me the focus of thermal lens of Nd:YAG crystal pumped by LD?

Diameter of LD beam is 200um, pump power is about 10W. Length of Nd:YAG is 3mm.
